Introduction

Hello, my name is Lydia Rose and I am currently in Minneapolis, but moving to the Bay Area in September and wondering about intentional communities and co-housing. I am a passionate foodcrafter; interested in body earth connection and foodmedicine.

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

From the East Bay Permaculture yahoo list.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

Co-Housing is something I am unfamiliar with personally, but that I am wondering if it would be right for me. I am very interested in learning how to live and share together, and hope to explore this process and the communities out there with the group.

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Co-Create

Where are you most interested in living?

I am moving to the Bay Area in September and looking for housing that resonates with my spirit. That being said, I don't know at the moment and am excited to find out. I have lived in Berkeley before and enjoy both Berkeley and Oakland.

  • let's stay awake
    and listen to the dark.
    before the birds,
    before they all wake up.
It's the ending of a day
    and soon begins another.
    hear the leaves
    applaud the wind.
    see the sun come rising
    and white-wings start
    to fly.
    like strings of pearls
    in the fiery sky.
    don't close
your eyes, don't leave the night now,
    as the leaves applaud
    your stay.

  • Welcome to the group Lydia Rose!,Yes this can indeed be very powerful work for deep somatic healing and alignment. I've been doing this practice for more than 20 years and it still has that role in my life, look forward to sharing about this work and meeting you on March 8th!, Mireya

  • Hi Lydia! Thanks for joining the group, and I look forward to seeing you on Dec. 2nd! Yes, come as a participant, which gives you a great sense of what the experience of being a client is like, and then talk with me during the break or afterward about calendaring one for you. It would be my honor. Peace, Leslie
