I believe that helping people create the intentional neighborhoods known as cohousing communities is key to our economic, environmental, cultural&spiritu
al progress. As a Cohousing Coach and regional organizer, I thrive on the opportunity to connect
I was involved in the development (as a member) of Swan's Market Cohousing back in 1997 and heard about meetings of folks working to create new alternatives. I joined as a backup plan and ended up keeping the group moving forward for the past decade.
Sustainable community living, the seeds of EcoVillages. Connecting with neighbors. Providing mutual support.
I already own a cohousing condo, but I'm eager to work with others to co-create new opportunities around the area.
I'm happy living here at Berkeley Cohousing, although I do miss the urban-downtown vitality of Swan's Market Cohousing in Oakland.

EBCOHO provides an onramp to creating and finding intentional community in the San Francisco Bay Area. come to our meetings to get exposed to different models, get educated, meet other people sharing similar interests and align your visions to translate them into reality. There are core groups ready to take action.

Raines, we've met when you and Betsy visited Southside Park cohousing a year or two ago. I visited Swan's Market last week and will be housesitting there this weekend.
Hi Raines, You mentioned sites for Fremont/Hayward
communities. Where do I find more info on that or who do I connect with to become a part of that conversation?
Thanks so much!
Corin
Hi Raines,
Great talking to you too. Thanks for all of the info. I will be settled down in Berkeley (N. Oakland) in July and I will come to a meeting. BTW, what is your mom's name? I'll look up her art on the web if it is there. Thanks again! -Chris
Monday April 29. Hello Raines, I guess my confirmed RSVP from Meetup was not enough so I must need a ticket too. How do I do that? I will turn up before 5pm on Wed , but would like to have things sorted out before that.
Regards,

Hello Raines,
I'd love to come to the Tiny house meeting but have a prior committment. How do you think I can stay in touch with this project? thanks, Laura Nicodemus, [masked]
Hi Raines. . Love the Tiny House Trend and architectural design- they seem to be sprouting everywhere. Actually a great business for builders as well as a great alternative for those that have wisely chosen to do more with less stuff. . .I often wonder, though, how many tiny home "dwellers" have storage units twice the size of their tiny home!? .. ... I 'll be out of town Wed- Friday this week. See you soon ..Hello to Betsy
Dear Raines, Welcome to your Second Act and community, where kindred spirits find connection, meaning and each other. We look forward to meeting you soon! Warmly, Whitney

Raines, FYI our Assembly meeting is cancelled for tomorrow, thanks to the storm. I imagine it inhibiting lots of folks getting out to Spirit. If you can make the rescheduled date on 2/16, we'd love to see you!
Hi Raines,
I'm in the Bay area now; we arrived early November. I'd be happy to sit town with EBCOHO members, though I was only with Kaleidoscope Village for the early years. I moved in with my wife-to-be, and KV ended up not moving forward. Still happy to share.
