I should have joined a long time ago!
Learned through permaculture friends, other coops, and now meetup.com search
Cohousing for me is a graduation from co-op renting into a more committed relationship with the concepts and values expressed in Communities Magazine, for example.... It is intentional community in an urban setting.
Bay Area, higher ground, less earthquake risky, somewhere with garden space.
Hope to meet you soon at one of our meetups David
Welcome to the group David. Yummy looking honey you got there! Do you keep bees too?
You can use my backyard david
Do you need a ride David, where do you want to meet:)?
Helloooooooooooooooo DaVID, thanks for joining, i hope to see you at one of our meetups soon:)
Welcome. Just relocated from Portland, OR. Are you a beekeeper? CZ
Welcome to Austin:
I did the same thing. I am from Cambridge Ma, moved to Davis CA, Chicago DC then came here! Love it! Call me if you'd like an activity partner.
Thanks for getting more active in East Bay Cohohousing, David. As a boardmember of the organization publishing Communities magazine (FIC), I'm glad you find the concepts and values appealing. It really does fill in the "social layer" of permaculture. Looking forward to connecting you to sustainable community.
