Introduction

Hello! My partner Shane and I are interested in moving into some form of communal living/intentional community and are trying to educate ourselves and see what is out there. Hoping to meet other people who are out there creating this already!

How did you hear about East Bay Cohousing?

Google search.

What does Cohousing mean to you?

No answer yet

What's most likely: Rent, Buy, Share, Build, Co-create?

Renting for the moment with an eye towards building and co-creating :)

Where are you most interested in living?

We are currently in Oakland and love it here but San Francisco or Berkeley are also wonderful if we could find the right situation.

  • Welcome to East Bay Cohousing, Andrea - . We've got several other members interested in co-creating a vegan community or supporting other shared interests. Keep an eye on our calendar http://www.ebcoho.org/calendar/ and message boards for upcoming opportunities to connect and learn more about how to do it.

  • Hi Andrea: I live in Piedmont. I've been studying and practicing Buddhism for 4 years which has vastly increased my awareness of my feelings, breath and body. I've had some ecstatic experiences with Tantra and I'm eager to explore it with a free-spirited woman who lives in the area. If this sounds nice, please contact me. Harvey

  • Hi, Andrea. Welcome to the group. There is also a poly community in Berkeley (also a branch for women only).
Maybe we'll see each other soon.

  • Hi Andrea,
Welcome to the Peninsula Macrobiotic Community! I see that you live in Oakland, have you ever been to the Manzanita Restaurant? They rock and serve fabulous meals everyday - not to mention their wonderful selection of baked goods...(yum!!!) I hope that if you find yourself anywhere in the vicinity of our dinners that you will be able join us some Monday night!
