    I was told by a waiter that they would take care of me. But then the waitress came over and handed me a check. I paid the bill without complaint, but that is unacceptable. In a proper restaurant a manager would have come over and apologized and informed me that the food was on the house. And then I would have given them a second chance. But that is not what happened. Michelle who sat next to me, and whose order was also lost, decided to cancel her meal, and they ignored her even more than me. No apology to her after she cancelled the meal. The manager dropped the ball and lost several customers.

    We were there 1 1/2 hrs and people who came well after me had been served when I finally complained, and it was only then that they realized there was a problem. At that point they should have put our orders on the fast track. But despite the fact that I ordered the "special" (which they should have plenty of virtually ready to go), it still took another 45 minutes to get a plate. By this time half our group was getting up and leaving.

    Although Dan went out of this way to help facilitate the situation, I have to agree with Phil. The waitress should have noticed when she plated everyone else that people's orders were missing, and that shouldn't have taken 1 1/2 hrs, especially since we were not walk ins but an established reservation. They knew we were going to be there in addition to their regular walk in trade, and should have staffed accordingly.

    Good food, great company however another restaurant that needs to learn how to manage service when things aren't flowing perfectly or when issues arise.

    Despite unplanned equipment failure, the restaurant brought out some mighty fine food. Romansa invited us to return, on our own or as a group, to allow them a chance to make things right (service-wise). Hence, I encourage all who attended to return (as I shall) and allow them to take great care of you.

      As far as the food was concerned it was inexpensive and a decent size serving, but nothing special. Certainly not a place I consider special enough to go out of my way to go to in the future.

    The service was terrible and my food was awful. Granted, they get the benefit of "just opening", however, that was really not an excuse! Sorry, can't buy that. Giving them another opportunity to serve the group will be great. I would go back and definitely order something more palatable. I had a great time and really liked the guys and gals, that I met and talked with. Especially enjoyed my girls from my area, they are great; both of them. So nice to talk with Stephen, John, Diana, Alex, and all the others. Great to hear intellectual conversations from nice, educated men!! Totally loved all of the group, most fun I have had. Thanks, Dan, for inviting me and of course to my dear Lilly, she is a peach!! Joanne, you kicked my booty at pool, so we will need to have another shot at that!! I am not too bad for an old "girl".!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Thanks.
