Le Coq Au Vin (literally Chicken in Wine) is a high-end French restaurant located in South Orlando. It's one of my favorite high end restaurants, something to save for a special occasion.
Magical Dining is a yearly event sponsored by Visit Orlando. A couple of dozen high end restaurants participate. For $33 (it used to be $30) plus drinks, tax, and tip you get a three course meal at a fancy restaurant. Eccentricity is going to schedule four events, each Saturday in September.
The magical dining menu features chicken, beef, and fish selections. If you don't like the Magical Dining selections, you're welcome to order from the regular menu.
This is authentic French cooking. There are escargot (snails), blood sausage, rabbit, and sweetbreads (don't ask unless you really want to know) on the menu.
And if you're grossed out by any of the above, think about where eggs come from the next time you have breakfast.
Well mannered kids are welcome, but their parents are responsible for their behavior.
Please keep your RSVP up to date, I will be contacting the restaurant the day before with the number.
Please note updated time - 7:30 pm.
