Experience the "Boma Coma"

Dinner at Boma at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a huge buffet with "Afritude". Soups, stews, roasted meats, all with African-inspired flavors, plus fun dishes like pap and fufu. Attendance is presently limited to 15, but we'll add tables if needed. Price is about $40, not counting adult beverages.

I am so glad I went. The food was delicious, as usual, and the company was great too. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Note that once you get past the Animal Kingdom *Park* toll plaza, there's a guard shack for Animal Kingdom *Lodge*. Show photo ID and tell them you're dining at Boma.

There are two buildings at the Lodge, the first right takes you to Jambo House, where Boma is. If you go past that turnoff you'll end up at Kidani Villiage --- they do have a nice restaurant there, but you won't see any of your Meetup friends.

    Howdy Bruce,
With the Boma restaurant being inside the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge one doesn't have to purchase a Disney ticket or pay for parking or do they?
    Thanks!

Nope. If you drive to the left, and keep going past the Animal Kingdom, you'll get to the lodge. You don't have to pay for parking.

Please RSVP by 11 November, as I'll be adjusting the table size that evening.

Boma does not offer a special Sunday Brunch, that's the approximate price for breakfast any day of the week (plus tax and tip).

If there's interest, we can schedule a breakfast there another time. Hot tub is out though -- unless you want to book a room.

Boma is great for Sunday Buffet Brunch, and then we go watch the animals, hang around the pool, hot tub, and watch the NFL at the pool bar. Do a Sunday Brunch meetup!!! It's like $24

I've been to Boma many times. It never disappoints. Unique food, good service. This will be a fun meet up!

Menu online at <http://tinyurl.com/m6yahze>;. Note that this is a buffet, and the specific items are subject to change.
