Greening Your Block, Greening the Planet

Let's join this month Inner Metamorphosis University's monthly meeting.

In many places, effects of climate change are already obvious. How do we create a sustainable future? By joining forces! Together, we can explore, coordinate, and encourage sustainable living here in Chicago and surrounding towns.

We have come to believe we are powerless over many things:
corporations, government, our neighbors, even nature. But we can change ourselves! Block by block, we can green our neighborhoods. In this new 12-step program we will hold each other accountable for our actions that affect our world.
Support, Joyful Sharing, Accountability, Healthy People and a Healthy Planet. One commitment per month per person to green one's Life-Style.

Every Meeting follows a simple three step process:
• Collecting knowledge and ideas about the topic of the month
• Everybody decides on "what do I want to commit to this month? One step at a time!"
• How to do that "one-step"? Advising and supporting each other.
The meeting will be closing with confirming the topic of the upcoming month

The meeting structure:
10:00am-12:00pm for the mind - Sharing Ideas
12:00pm-~1:00pm for the belly - Potluck: organic-vegetarian-gluten free
1:00pm for the soul - Closing Circle

    Vadim,
I would like to attend, but was wondering how far this is from the Howard redline stop? Or if it is closer to Sheridan and I should take Sheridan bus?? Any suggestions?
