Spain is in the Euro zone so should have all the options and Irish based company has. Check out BrainTree(braintreepayments.com), way cheaper than paypal and similar to Stripe who have also just started a closed beta in Ireland and Uk and are showing € on the dashboard so should be available in Spain soon.

Anyone that is interested in the stripe Ireland beta can signup here https://stripe.com/glo... They will get back to you almost immediately with an invite. http://new.livestream... 4 minutes in "Two young lads from Limerick that scared the pants off paypal". "online customers in Ireland" Colm....I hope group members are aiming for bigger markets than just Ireland ? It's the interweb right.....the world is our oyster ;)

In Ireland and the UK there are many possibilities to use a method of payment, such as paypal, google checkout, ... but in Spain it is not so, and for an ecommerce that is beginning this can be a high cost and at the end is used for its simplicity paypal.
Ideas and solutions related to this?

I usually do this, what the client asks me, but I'd like other options and opinions.

You could also look at 2checkout.com. They act as your merchant account and payment gateway / processor in much the same way as PayPal. They very much focus on international and you can do transfers to the Spanish regular bank account. No need for a merchant's account

    Hi Guys,

Hope all is well. I am very sorry I was not able to attend yesterday's event, I was in Waterford in a meeting all day. I am very disappointed I missed the event as it was something I was very keen to attend. Would it be possible to get the slides from the event or did anyone record it?

    Hi All,

Bit of confusion last time around the location the last time as Google Maps decided to relocate us. I can confirm that the location on Google Maps is now correct. We are on Sir John Rogerson's Quay just around the corner from Windmill Lane. Directly opposite CitiBank on the Southside of the Quays and about 3 blocks from the Beckett Bridge if you're heading towards O'Connell Street. Give us a call if you have any problems finding us!!!

    See you all on Monday
