New Meetup: post Krugman meeting plus healthcare issues

Announcing a new Meetup for Economist readers!

What: post Krugman meeting plus healthcare issues

When: September 29,[masked]:00 PM

Price: $2.00 per person

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

A casual meetup where we can start discussing the Krugman event and time permitting move to the health care debate. Of course, when a group of economist readers get together the conversation tends to cover a diverse range of topics.

Is anyone out there familiar with the Japanese health care system? My understanding is that its at the far end of the spectrum, but it would be good to have some informed opinions. Does the Swedish incentive system create the most effective hospitals? Just a couple of questions to get the ball rolling :)

I will pick a venue once we have a better idea how many will show up.

I am going to charge $2, (meetup does charge fees etc). However, if someone is ideologically opposed to money I can probably make an exception :)
