The SF Bay Area Environmental Meetup is a public group open to all those interested in sustainable development, green building, alternative and renewable energy sources, recycling and reducing waste, global climate change, air and water pollution issues, biodiversity and ecosystem health, organic living and environmental justice.

This group will provide opportunities to not only meet other like-minded "green" folks in the bay area, but to also attend informative lectures, seminars, book readings, and documentaries pertaining to environmental issues, participate in environmental community service activities, as well as opportunities to learn, support and further enhance one's own role in the green movement through interaction and activism in their own communities.

The SF Bay Area Environmental Meetup Group is committed to organizing individuals to work with local groups and communities on projects and events that will provide access to empowerment in global environmental issues.
