I've hiked Petgill Lake numerous times over the years. It's one of my favorite shoulder-season hikes. As a good deal of the hike is in shaded tree-cover until the actual lake, I can't say for certain whether all the snow will have melted by this time so please come prepared for snow cover in places just in case!
Please read all the information posted below. It's not for me - I wrote it - it's for you, to ensure that you are aware of the hiking stats, level of difficulty, time-commitments, gear required, etc. Thank you! :-)
Please DO NOT RSVP "no" if you are not attending. The "no" function is merely for those who have had to change their "yes" RSVP to "no" due to a change of plans. And please, no uninvited guests. Thanks for understanding. I appreciate it. :-)

For driving directions to Petgill Lake please refer to the link provided here.
In consideration of the environment, the limited parking available, and the high cost of fuel, it is recommended that we carpool whenever possible. While the group does not endorse any formal policy, it is typically suggested that passengers offer the driver $5.00 per half hour of driving (includes mileage and vehicle wear & tear). However, private arrangements between passenger(s) and driver may be made ahead of time.
Please note in your RSVP whether you can offer a ride or need a ride, and where you will be coming from. Passengers, please ensure you show up on time and bring an extra bag for wet/muddy footwear and clothing.
Please do not leave carpooling arrangements until the last minute. The organizer is not responsible for arranging carpooling opportunities on your behalf - that is strictly the responsibility of every individual member. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. :-)
