Cycling Seymour Valley Trailway, located in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (LSCR), is a fun, relaxing way to end the day while providing a bit of a cardio workout.
This trail leads eventually to the Seymour Reservoir Viewpoint, where we'll take a short break before returning back the way we came.
The entire trail is car-free, and follows an undulating paved road through tall forested trees.
With the sun setting at 9:00 pm. and the Seymour Demonstration Forest being generally darker due to the thick tree cover, we will ride, steadily, at a moderate pace. You should be comfortable riding and keeping pace with the group, both on the uphill and downhill sections. It's definitely not a race, however, we just have to be mindful of the daylight hours available to us.
With that in mind, please be confident of your fitness level and riding ability before RSVPing to this event. Thank you! :-)
***Please Note: This bike ride will be cancelled in the event of unfavourable conditions. If I decide to postpone the event, I will do so 2 hours prior to the meetup time.

Carpooling with bikes can be difficult, but it is always recommended whenever possible. However, I will leave that up to each person to arrange on their own.
There is free parking on Dempsey, alongside the park. That is where I recommend people look for parking. Access to parking spots stretch along several blocks. Parking inside the park tends to be crowded so I recommend that you look for free street parking outside the boundary of the park.
