Come join us for another adventure trip into southern St'at'imc native communities!!! This time we will be planting veggies in the community gardens of Xa'xtsa an Paquath, work on some final touches in the community gardens of Sachteen and Skatin and relocate some chickens...and, of course, soak in the natural Hot Springs of Sloquet and/or T'sek!!
As always, we will be leaving Vancouver at 9am Friday morning and return some time late Sunday evening. We have two vehicles but will need more. We will be camping at one of the hot springs, fees will be waived but participants will have to bring their own camping gear, work gloves and food. Gas expenses will be shared between all volunteers and we do have all tools necessary. Please be aware that nights are still cold and that it may rain, so bring sufficient amount of clothes (that can get dirty and/or wet) and rain gear. We usually work for up to 7 hours every day, which leaves plenty of time to go for hikes or soak in the hot springs. Looking forward to having you join us on this trip!!!! :-)
