Hey,

How's it going? So how's your business been doing? Hopefully it's been going well for you. I can't believe what a mild winter we've been having, it's been really good so far. Hopefully it will feel even more like spring right away; do some bbq-ing again!

I thought I'd mention something to you that I've known about for quite some time now. It's a little known secret of the internet that seemingly not a lot know about. Back in 2000 I cam across this company called Clickbank.com . They do payment processing and are a massive affiliate mall. I started using them back then, and started getting check in the mail from them every two weeks. So 12 years later I'm still getting checks from them! I'm not as active with them anymore but I still get checks in the mail.

So here's the scoop on Clickbank...

Lets say you want to get into business online but don't have a clue about internet marketing. Well you can simply sign up as an a clickbank Affiliate. Then you go to the Marketplace on there website. There you find many different products that others have created that you can promote. You promote those products and if anyone clicks on any of your ads, and then ends up buying the product, you then automatically earn a commission.

The beautiful thing about being a Clickbank affiliate is that you don't have to know that much about internet marketing to get started. For example you don't need a product, or a website. You just promote the products and websites of other sellers on there. And usually for any sale you earn between about 50-75% of the sale. So you earn most of the money on any transaction which really adds up. Some Clickbank Affiliates earn five figures a month. And many many affiliates earn 4 figures a month. It's such an easy way to earn some extra income online. You have to do some research into it yourself but both on there site and on youtube you'll find tones of information on understanding exactly how it works.

But here's the other thing....

This is the one area I've carefully examined for a business plateform. It's really a very rare and unique opportunity. It's like this. Think of Clickbank as a massive shopping mall. You got the Affiliates in the mall. They are like the retail stores. They didn't make the products they sell. They got them from manufacturers and wholesalers. So then there's the manufacturers of the products. These are basically like the Clickbank Sellers. These are the giants of the operation.

Basically if you're a Clickbank Seller that means you've created a product. It could be like a informational course on how to do something. Or could be a software product. It has to be downloadable, so in electronic format in order to be sold on clickbank. So again even an ebook that you create or have rights to qualifies.

So Clickbank has 10's of thousands of affiliates. Again it's like a huge online Mall. Again each affiliate is like a "retail store" in the mall. But they need products to sell in there store. So they then go to the Clickbank Sellers. They look through the product lines to find ones they want to promote. So lets say you're a click bank seller. You launched an ebook on say how to do something or other.

Now here's what happens...

Your product then gets listed in the Clickbank Marketplace. That's a list of all the products that the Affiliates (retailers) can choose from to sell. They'll see your product and begin selling it for you. Yes, these internet savey Affiliate marketers will find your product and be promoting it online, advertising it for you all over the place, even while your sleeping. The reason they do that is because if a sale goes through obviously they get a cut of the sale, you pocket the rest.

The key advantage to being a Clickbank Seller and the reason I'm ranting on about it is this....

We've all heard the saying that goes if you want to get wealthy you need to gain leverage right. This is that perfect situation. Because you instantly gain tones of these Affiliates doing all the selling for you. An instant sales force for your product. It's the distribution channel you need in order to make lots of sales and lots of coin. And to become a seller it only costs something like 50 bucks to submit a product for review.

If your product isn't accepted there's a few alternatives you can use other than Clickbank if you want to become a Seller. The one I recommend is Plimus. They're very similar in nature to Clickbank. Everything works about the same.

So if you got a product on one or both of these distribution channels you could easily see sales and profits start to roll in. Clickbank has infact made many many millionaire Sellers. Because it offers the seller the huge distribution they need in order to see sizable profits come in.

If you're interested in making a serious go of a website or online product then that's where you'd want to consider doing your product launch as a Clickbank Seller.

Again I've studied this for years and years and have first hand experience as both a Seller and a Clickbank affiliate. There's good money to be made online using either of these via clickbank.

Anyway I thought it was worth mentioning to you if you're looking for ideas. Nothings a sure thing but it's got a lot of potential. They key to it is to do a lot of research. Figure out how other people are doing it both as Affiliates (retailers) and Sellers (product manufacturers). And just copy the process. It could really be a fast and cheap way to get into a very profitable business.

Anyway otherwise The Entrepreneur meeting is this monday at 6:30pm at the Starbucks on 178st and 69 ave. Hope to see you there. Rsvp below ok.
