How are you? Did you have a good week? Hopefully you're getting outside and enjoying the sun. I'm so pleased to see the sun again. It shines in through my bay window and I'll just sit in the sun often times, kick back with a cold drink and maybe listen to music or an audio book. Very relaxing.
Speaking of which I stumbled across one of my all time favorite books. I've listened to a lot of books over the last 20 years. One of my all time favorites is an audio book by Wayne Dyer called 101 ways to transform your life. Here's a link to it as it's on youtube:

I was listening to this again today. One item really stood out that a lot of entrepreneurs seem to wrestle with. It's the idea of the concept of "success".
We seem live in a society that often defines a persons success by there physical and material possessions. If you don't have a million dollars in the bank, a big house, a nice new car and a thriving business people don't often enough think of themselves as successful. The sad reality is that most people think that in order to somehow define themselves as a success they have to have first accumulated these items such as these. But it's really a false definition of the idea of success.
There's an age old saying that goes "as a man thinketh in his heart so is he". That's the quintessential idea behind a great deal of which is happening in anyones life at any point in time. There thoughts about who they are are shaping there life. So whatever you desire starts with a thought. Whatever or whoever you believe yourself to be also is part of your thoughts and beliefs about yourself.
It's paramount that business people and entrepreneurs carefully examine each area of there life surrounding there business life. And carefully examine the thoughts and beliefs that one has established for themselves. These thoughts and beliefs often will form the boundries to which all the various aspects of your business take place.
So getting back to the idea of success, if you want to be more successful, well it's just a thought away. Start to think of yourself as a success. Part of you will likely try to justify that or account for that success in some way. But you don't even have to do that. It doesn't matter if you haven't made a dime in business. The point is reshaping your mental framework.
If you start to think of yourself as successful, then that also means your valuable. Once you believe you have endless value then you can start to share that value with others in the form of offering products and services. So you give as much as you can to others through the form of valuable products and services. Then as you give in abundance the natural manifestation of this will be none other than "cash flow" coming into your bank account. Then before long you'll have the money to do, have, and be anything you wish.
But again, getting back to my point. You don't start at the finish line. You become a success the moment you start to think and act successfully. Thinking and acting successfully means you're doing something to add tons of value to the people and world around you. And even if you don't have an idea as long as you first start to think of yourself as a success, synergistically you'll find the people, and opportunities naturally being drawn to you instead of you having to forcibly go out and have to search them out.
The reason is that successful people are like opportunity magnets. They attract the best opportunities and people into there lives. Okay another age old saying that relates to this. "he who has shall be given more, he that does not have will have taken away from him even the little he thinks he has". Strange weird universal truths that apply to most everything.
So if you want to become successful start to think of yourself as such and as someone who has tremendous value to bring to the market place. Not coming from the standpoint of what I can gain from the situation or transaction, but coming from a spirit of offering value, helping and serving others first. As you do that, and offer value, then value will naturally flow back in the form of cash money in your bank account. Plus in the form of meeting other valuable people who can help your business even more. So again it all starts with your thoughts. So regardless of what you've acheived so far start to recalibrate how you view yourself and your business career so that you can start to make that paradigm shift.
So like I said, this kind of information is sometimes found is rare and really powerful books like the one I mentioned earlier. Definitely check that one out.
