2012 Detroit Tax Auction - 2nd Round - 2004 Built House for $500?

Hi fellow investors!

The Detroit tax foreclosure auction is having their final round this week for 2012.  All properties that didn't sell last
month are offered at a starting bid of $500!  There were 22 000 properties offered last month at the Wayne County Tax Auction (Detroit).

Here are a couple properties in good areas that sold this morning.  I was up at 5 am Edmonton time (where I currently am) following the
bidding.  I viewed both these properties when I was in Detroit.  They are both near downtown and Wayne State University in a highly desirable area.

217 Harper Street:
- near downtown Detroit and Wayne State University
- in area of high redevelopment with many newer apartment complexes and townhouses
- would rent for about $700
- all liens (except for city-related liens), past taxes, and mortgages are wiped-out

298 Hendrie Street:
-in desirable Midtown neighbourhood
-near downtown and walking distance to Wayne State University
-good rental area
-liens are wiped out on all tax auction properties as described above

The 2012 auction is continuing this week. To bid, you had to register and submit a deposit two weeks ago.  I am looking for investors interested in
purchasing properties with me at the auction.
I have reviewed the[masked] plus properties for the best quality rental properties with the greatest
potential for future appreciation.

Here is the next property I am preparing for:

  • built 2004
  • over 2000 square feet
  • good area of Detroit for future development
  • valued at about $50 000 by Zillow
  • good rental area

The bidding on this property ends Tuesday noon.  Please contact me by email or phone right away to arrange funds for bidding.  I think I might get this property for a very good price!

The housing market in Detroit started to turn positive this past spring. Median prices are up 9.1% in Wayne County and 12.2% in Metro Detroit in the last year.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this unique opportunity, please contact me immediately to discuss the type of property that interests you and your maximum bid amount.
For a very reasonable assignment fee, I will bid on the property, research and view it, check title for liens and other debts, supervise any needed repairs, and find a local property manager to effectively manage it for you.
