Graduation and achievement levels in the United States have been lagging over the past decade, and many great thinkers in the education and edtech community have put their minds together to find a solution. Now students within the system, including 17 yr-old author Nikhil Goyal, have stood up to share their thoughts. Are programs like Race to the Top and No Child Left behind helping or hurting our education system? And, how could innovation in the edtech community help fill in the policy deficits produced by education legislation?
Nikhil Goyal will be giving his insights on these issues and others, followed by a question and answer period with the audience. Mr. Goyal’s work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, MSNBC, and NPR among others. Named one of the “World Changers” for Dell #Inspire 100, he was also in the 2013 Forbes 30 Under 30 on Education innovation.
