Re: [electronicmusic-164] This Thursday - anyone for a meetup?

I'm likely up for this.

Just upgraded to Ableton 8, too, so am planning to get my teeth stuck into it at the weekend, anyway. A quick heads-up on its new coolnesses would be a useful ramp-up ('cos I'm too lazy to teach myself).

Apologies for spamming the list, I did send this on to Ben as a

This Thursday : secretsundaze, Ableton and friends present
Innervisions and Horse Meat Disco

?from 10:00 pm - 6:00 am at the Coronet Theatre, Elephant and Castle.

"On Easter Thursday secretsundaze and Ableton will host the UK debut
of "A Critical Mass," the much whispered-about live project by Ame,
Dixon and Henrik Schwarz. All key members of the Innervisions crew -
Ame (Kristian and Frank), Dixon and Henrik Schwarz - will play live
together using Ableton Live with their unique Innervisions versions of
stone cold classics, as well as their own twists on key Innervisions
releases and remixes from the vaults! As ever, our trusty residents
Giles Smith and James Priestley will be in support, and the art deco
auditorium at The Coronet will provide the perfect grandiose setting
for this show. With London's finest - secretsundaze and Horse Meat
Disco - at the helm, this party cannot be missed.

Exclusive Ableton Live Workshop"
Dixon, Ame and Henrik Schwarz of Innervisions will host an exclusive
Ableton Live workshop before the show, featuring Ableton Live 8 and
Ableton Suite 8. This is an amazing opportunity to see how these
talented artists make and perform their music, and a great chance to
get a good look at the newest version of Ableton Live."

Those of a non-geek tendency can ignore the last part of course.
I don't know the area so if anyone knows anywhere to meet earlier.
