(Elvis' 2nd movie - and his first color movie!)

Elvis Presley stars in this Paramount Pictures release as Deke Rivers, a delivery man who is discovered by publicist Glenda Markle and country-western musician Tex Warner who want to promote the talented newcomer to fame and fortune, giving him every break he deserves. Romantic complications arise as Susan, another singer in the group, offers him devoted admiration as Glenda leads him on with promises of a golden future.

In addition to Elvis, Lizabeth Scott, Wendell Corey, Dolores Hart, and others appear in this movie (Note: Elvis' mother Gladys can also be seen in the movie).

In addition to the title song, the movie features songs such as "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear", "Got A Lot o' Livin' To Do", "Mean Woman Blues", and others!

Had a wonderful time. Great to see everyone again:) We watched the movie "Loving You" (on the 'big screen'), also learned a little more about the movie (the behind-the scenes stories, taking notice of Gladys Presley, Scotty, D.J., Bill being in the movie). Had a table with Elvis items on display, and also on another section had some snack foods. We also got to socalize and catch up with each other with what's been going on, etc. Not to take away from other events, but the video/movie events at the library/libraries (like this one) and the photo/memorabilia events definitely fit in with what our group advertises it to be :) Events like this make it easier for us members to talk about our group, promote our group, and encourage people to come. When you come to an event like this, you know very well this is an ELVIS fan club and the people in our group are huge ELVIS fans and proud of it! :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
