This is one of the few "safe" places in Charlotte to ask questions and explore faith in Christ no matter what your church background is (or if you don't have a church background at all). We are Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant of every stripe, all finding unity in our diversity around Jesus and the Gospel of the kingdom of God. We are sorry to miss tonight's meetup! I have too much work to do for a show this friday and saturday at the Epicenter. We really enjoyed the conversation and sharing last month and look forward to our next opportunity. I'm enjoying McLaren's book that I borrowed. Roger

Man, I really enjoyed meeting so many new people who were very welcoming & open to me & my questions; I also enjoyed the diversity of hte group--so refreshing since I have felt like a fish out of water in church even the more contemporary evangelical church that my husband & I attend as a "compormise." I also found myself wanting to meet for coffee with almost everyone there to hear their stories & ask more questions. I feel so much like I'm trying so hard to "hang on" to being a Christian, but the simplistic & "well, that's what the Bible says" reactions to my questions & the way I WANT to believe make me feel like I shouldn't even call myself a Christian anymore. Anyway, I really enjoyed hearing from some more diverse people than I've been arounnd in years, so thanks!

It was everything I had hoped it would be and more! I truly enjoyed meeting everyone and being able to discuss openly without feeling threatened. I look forward to each month!
