We're most definitely still here! - Just wanted to take a moment to say sorry about the hiccup in ownership of our meetup group. We're still here, nothing has changed. The payment method that we had on file was old. Everything is back up and running! Thanks for catching this, Cha Ryan L. C. Aug 21, 2015 5:18 PM

Re: [enclave] Javascript toolkits dojo vs. jquery? - dojo has changed a lot in recent years. It used to be more of a monolithic web framework, but has since become a minimal loader (< 4kb) for any number of useful JavaScript modules. There are jQuery like modules that are more or less concerned with DOM Scooter W. Oct 20, 2012 5:15 PM
Re: [enclave] Javascript toolkits dojo vs. jquery? - I haven't used Dojo, but I have used Zepto which is basically a stripped down version of jQuery. Though, you can also pick what you want to include and compile smaller version of jQuery. What does Dojo provide that is different than jQuery? Jerad B. Oct 20, 2012 4:47 PM
Javascript toolkits dojo vs. jquery? - Scooter's backbone.js talk got me considering javascript libraries and toolkits. Jquery is great and very popular, but the Dojo toolkit came on my radar as well. Craig H. A. Oct 20, 2012 10:08 AM
Re: [enclave] ember.js heavy alternative to backbone.js - Ember seems like it is pretty well suited for things like Rails (with Yahuda Katz being on the core contributor team for both Ember and Rails it kinda makes sense), but with Rails 4's new steaming feature, I'm wondering how useful this will be in Ryan L. Re: [enclave] ember.js heavy alternative to backbone.js - The message that I get when going to the supplied link is : 504 Gateway Time-out I'm assuming that is not what you expected. I wish I had been able to attend, sounds very cool. On Fri, Oct 19, 2 Patrick S. Oct 19, 2012 1:37 PM
Re: [enclave] ember.js heavy alternative to backbone.js - I'm actually really enjoying AngularJS waaaay more. It does a lot of the DOM cleanup tasks and such for you. On Fri, Oct 19, 2012 at 1:29 PM, Craig H. Anderson < Jerad B. Oct 19, 2012 1:30 PM

Ryan Cross added a post - Just a reminder: Since we're serving food and drink ourselves now, RSVPs are that much more important to us since they let us know how much food to prepare for! Its not critical, but helps us a lot, so RSVP whenever you can. Thanks! Ryan L. C. Oct 25, 2010 4:37 PM
Ryan Cross added a post - As a reminder, this week is the last week we will be meeting at The Coffee Exchange. That being said, we WILL still be meeting there this week. Ryan Cross added a post - It has become painfully obvious to me by now that most of those of you who have become members of the co-working space are more interested in working from the The Enclave on Wednesday mornings vs meeting at The Coffee Exchange. Please take a mo Ryan L. C. Sep 16, 2010 4:43 PM
Ryan Cross added a post - #enclavecoop is now live on irc.freenode.net! If you use IRC, come on in. I have claimed the channel and have even written a bot to keep us company! If you see enclavebot in the channel, type '!help' for more information. Enjoy! Ryan L. C. Jul 19, 2010 12:17 AM
Ryan Cross added a post - "We signed the lease this morning. The new home of The Enclave is now officially 5376 Tomah Dr, Suite 204, 80918!" Please note that the location of the weekly meetup will not be changing (for now at least). But this is great news for Ryan L. C. Jul 16, 2010 1:47 PM

Ryan Cross added a post - I just put an order in for more Enclave mini cards and five card holders (like the one I have) for any of you who wanted one! They should be here in a few weeks. Ryan L. C. Jun 24, 2010 3:26 PM

Ryan Cross added a post - So far, The Enclave has proved to be exactly what many of us have been wanting for a while now. As independent and freelance contractors, working in an office or our homes can become tedious quickly. Thank you for being a part of The Enclave. Without you, Ryan L. C. May 23, 2010 10:09 PM
New Meetup Web Address - Not much is changing, but I am taking advantage of a new feature meetup.com just implemented. You may not know this, but we have the domain enclavecoop.com. I've just enabled a feature to make our meetup group accessible at Ryan L. C. May 17, 2010 3:41 PM
Ryan Cross added a post - Good evening everyone! Due to this weather, I'm wondering if we'll be able to hold the meetup tomorrow after all. How about this: We're fairly decentralized... anyone who can make it, do so, and anyone who can't simply won't. Ryan L. C. Mar 23, 2010 10:19 PM
