Chicago is more than the Murder Capital.  She is the heart of America, jewel of the midwest, home of house music and a breeding ground for Hip-Hop Legends.  The home of Barrack Obama, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Derrick Rose, Lupe Fiasco, Krewella, Gotham City, Metropolis and the Autobot victory over the Deceptions, Chicago is an international and intergalactic hot spot for talent, power, arts and entertainment.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day Chicago is the best place on earth. Summer Camp is the same distance from Chicago as Coachella is from LA and in 2013 Chicago is center stage for EDC, Spring Awakening, Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, and Northcoast.  It was inevitable that the international, acid jazz, trip hop, dub electronic sound would merge with Golden age Hip-Hop and Classic House to create a Chicago Style Sound that is as unique as the city, pizza, skyline and people.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, "From Slaves To Kings" is a marriage of sight, sound, spirit and matter, that is somehow both unrecognizable and familiar.  From $lave$ To King$ is a sonic red pill that shoots you down the rabbit hole and out the other side.  This kinetic, almost schizophrenic album changes pace, production and subject matter faster than Chicago weather, yet somehow is cohesive and complete.

NeodotcoM is the fusion of Golden Age Hip-Hop, Trap and EDM.  Think The Underachievers meets Odd Future, Jay Electronica meets Juicy J and Kanye West meets Kendrick Lamar, over electro-trap boom-bap, on Mario and DMT.

Before Control, Yeezus, Magna Carta Holy Grail and Summer Knight$, Chicago's Born Winner, NeodotcoM released "From Slaves To Kings EP" on Independence Day (Released 7/4/12).

Nearly a full Solar Rotation later, on the Summer Solstice, NeodotcoM emerges from the Chicago Underground to release the long awaited follow up, "From Slaves To Kings 2013" (6/21/13).  The album slowly bubbled in the Chicago Underground while Major Releases dominated the Media.  Now at the Equinox the time is right for Neo to Emerge.

The Emancipation Proclamation was an order issued to all segments of the Human Race by Master Commander NeodotcoM of the Galactic Federation on May 20, 2013. This is not a law passed by Congress, It is based on the Neo's sovereign authority as Master Commander of Self. It proclaims that all those mentally, emotionally and spiritually enslaved to be forever free. The Emancipation Proclamation orders all sentient beings who are willing to wake up to a greater reality, especially the 30 out of 33 million African American Mental slaves in the U.S.A.

To commemorate the release of his first album, "From Slaves, To Kings". The universe sent NeodotcoM a Viral gift giving him 1.1M views in 7 days. To celebrate this twist of fate, Neo is releasing his first single "Viral" to thank the universe for magically having his name and face appear Everywhere.

Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, The Legend of Emmett Till was always a warning, reminder and milestone.  In commemoration of Mr. Till's Sacrifice, Black History Month and the Ignorance of someone to never be named, NeodotcoM has decided to title his second single, The Revenge of Emmett Till.  This is a celebration of Life, Legacy, How far we've come and How far we still have to go.
