I want to publicly thank Virgil, for his pics. Thanks agian for helping in letting the world know that a cafe philo is a civil place of discussion were people speak, and listen to each other speak.
We all want to preserve this precious thing, a place where, as long as one respects the others, and common rules of politeness, and of sharing are respected, speech is free. Hear ! Hear !

Do you want to move this photo to “__ALBUM_NAME__”?
Yes, I'm Sure
This is a "Classic Philo Cafe".
It happens once a month in a cafe in the Latin Quarter (Cafe de Flore).
It is public, free (but you must buy a drink) and it lasts 2 hours from 7 to 9 PM on a wednesday.
Topics are proposed by the attendees and then one of them is chosen on the basis of its interest as a topic for all.
People speak one at a time (there is a microphone).
The "model" is the Cafe des Phares (in french) which is every sunday at the place de la Bastille from 11 AM to 13 PM.
It's fun, ....and serious !
