Join us on Monday, October 21st for a special event at dB's in Utrecht: a stand-up comedy show in English performed by five comedians from around the world. David Duff (Ireland), David Deery (United States), Sofie Hagen (Denmark), Joe Eagan (Canada) and Rayen Panday (Holland) will enter the stage.
The comedy night will be hosted by International Comedians, a booking agency based in mainland Europe specializing in comics who can perform in English for company events, parties and clubs.
David Duff (Ireland) is a musical comedian. His most well known song is "The Boy Racer Song" which has had about 200,000 hits on Youtube. He has played all over world with a host of different acts in venues both small and big. His songs are catchy and sometimes even funny.
David Deery (United States) is an American comic based in Berlin and has just come off his sell-out tour of the "Mother Fucking David Deery show" - not for the faint-hearted, David absolutely blew audiences away at the recent Copenhagen Comedy Festival as a special guest and we are really looking forward to what he will treat you to this evening - a truly unique act in every sense of the word.
Sofie Hagen (Denmark) is a London-based stand-up comedian and comedy writer from Denmark. Sofie won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2013 award and was a finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian of the year 2012, Funny Women Awards 2012 and Piccadilly Comedy Club New Act 2012.
Joe Eagan (Canada) currently resides near Copenhagen and runs the English comedy club there. He specializes in touring around the world and performing for international groups with his unique ‘sit-down comedy’ show about life, culture clashes, and lots of other fun things – a maple syrup mix of observational humour you don’t want to miss.
Rayen Panday (Holland) won the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival in 2008, was one of the writers for the hit television programs Jörgen Raymann's Zo:Raymann and Jandino Asporaat's Dino Show, but since 2010 he's the solid strength at the Comedy Cafe in Amsterdam.
