The purpose of this group is to help those new to, or considering entering, the film industry, to develop their skills and to network so as to meet like minded people.
To that end we have "How To" nights, Workshops, hands on training, networking events and we also make short films within this group, so people get the opportunity to take on various roles in the making of those films as well as view the end results and get constructive feedback from within the group.
Of course the group is also the place to find someone to help you with your personal project or to participate in some one else's project as another way of developing your skill levels. We currently have a number of members projects running, including one which we hope to get aired on PBS TV overseas.
Even if you have been in the industry for some years, you will also find opportunities to participate here, be it working on projects with other members and helping to develop their skills or to develop some new skills of your own.

The first viewing of films made by the teams who got together on 13 October (ROUND ONE) will take place at this meeting.
Following the viewing of completed films, team members will then network and build new teams before coming up with another idea for the next round of films which will be shown in the new year as Round Two. Read more
