With a downturn economy, and the entertainment industry changing everyday, entrepreneurs, film producers, music industry and artists are looking for alternative ways to survive and thrive. This meetup is associated with an organization called CEO Space, which helps entrepreneurs find resources, connections and capital to give projects the green light to proceed.
CEO Space hosts 5 large business forums per year, where one third of the participants are investors. Typically, most angel investor organizations fund only 1% of the projects that are presented to them. CEO Space has a much more efficient track record. The organization has been successfully helping entrepreneurs of all industries for over 21 years, and has assisted its members in raising over 3 Billion in capital in 2009 alone.
Many entertainment industry professionals are also seeking additional income streams to provide stability during unpredictable times. CEO Space offers opportunities for it's members to join boards of directors for projects they resonate with, passive income business models, JV partnerships, alliance partners, ongoing support., mentoring and connections.
In addition to our business forums, which requires a membership fee, we hold local weekly free networking events to brainstorm and connect with like minded individuals. The CEO Space philosophy is to promote cooperative capitalism and to eliminate competitive and cut throat methods of doing business. If you feel you have the mindset of a giver rather than a taker, CEO Space may be right for you. If you are more of a "shark" who is only in business for what you can get for yourself, it is probably not for you.
The format of our meetings are:

- An overview of what our CEO Space business forums are and how they may benefit your particular project.
- A guest speaker who is a Lifetime Member of CEO Space
- A mastermind circle where you can share your project and receive input from mentors. Your IP is protected at CEO Space.
- You will be invited to become a member to attend our business forums if you feel it is a good fit for you. However, you will always be welcome to attend our local networking events to develop connections and community.
