Cobell v is a film project that is 85% shot about the government's gross mismanagement of the American Indian Trust Fund over the last hundred years. The government has admitted wrongdoing and the compelling stories are leading to a settlement.
I need $1.3 million dollars to finish shooting, editing, developing orginal music, and executing an initial distribution strategy. In addition, I'm raising funds to create a media collaborative studio producing projects that "make a difference".
I have a group of connections with many through an association I founded of studio executives, distribution executives, producers, directors, music professionals that can participate and/or provide resources.
We are developing distribution which will create a platform for the marketing and exposure of projects that "make a difference" and empower filmmakers, TV producers, internet developers, and music professionals to create meaningful projects.
Having done TV & film projects, I'm seeking others who are involved in media that is meaningful. Having started an important non-profit (META) and a media development/production company, I hope to contribute whatever I can to empower others.
