If you're interested in hiking, paddling, bocce ball, biking, and other outdoor activities, would like to participate with other people or groups of people, this may be the spot for you.
New Club for getting people together to enjoy outdoor activities; more specifically people in or traveling to the Champlain Valley area or area of posted activity are encouraged to connect, car pool, and have fun. Any skill level is fine and beginners are encouraged. Post your hiking ideas for others to see, meet up, and enjoy.
Information about additional activities will be posted soon. Below is a description of the Adirondack hiking information, which is the original focus of the group when formed. Group members have additional shared interests beyond hiking and the list of activites is now open to all ideas. You may post your ideas in the "ideas" section. When several people vote for an idea, it will receive further attention and get posted as an event with a date, time, and become open for others to join.

The Adirondack High Peaks is the name given to 46 mountain peaks in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. that was originally believed to comprise all of the Adirondack peaks higher than 4,000 feet (1,219 m). However, later surveying showed that four of the peaks in the group are actually under this elevation, and one peak that should have been included was overlooked. Due to tradition, no mountains were removed from or added to the group as a result of the revised elevation estimates
OUR MISSION: This Lake Champlain Valley based group is for focusing and sharing the joy of wonderful outdoor experiences with an accent on achievement, goal attainment, big huff-and-puff exercise and the thrill of success … with like-minded friends who have experience out there … and for the joys of long-lasting camaraderie that can last.
• WHEN WE GO / DON'T GO: Generally, our trips are on weekends and holidays only. We are not a "Rain or Shine" hiking group -- if the weather is predicted to be lousy, stay close to the computer -- the organizer may postpone the trip. Activities in dreadful weather is not what we are about. We want our hiking trips to be fun.
• DO IT FOR THE PASSION Everyone sets goals; you'll reach yours. You and I will never "climb them all" -- there are always more challenges to challenge you. It is in the spirit of life's endless challenges our group was formed and is guided.
