I am involved with TiE-Boston (http://boston.tie...). As part of that,
we have a special interest group - Small and Medium Enterprise - that
focuses on issues related to this sector.
The SME SIG has an event on July 17th, How to Market Your Small Business
Differently by Applying Methods Others Don't. The speakers are
practitioners with an expertise on marketing. Have you heard of
RainToday.com? It's a well-established newsletter and site that
discusses marketing small businesses. Mike Schultz founded and runs it.
We also have founder and owner of a medium sized business, Bob Pokress,
who has built Image Fortress to secure large government contracts.
Ameeta Soni, who started and ran a consulting business prior to working
with venture funded start ups and is now at VFA, will also be speaking.
Lisa van der Pool, Boston Business Journal reporter of small business
issues, will be the moderator. It will be an exciting event!
If you find this of interest, I hope you will attend. There is no cost.
You have to register by going to the TiE Boston website. Please forward
to your colleagues who may be interested. Let me know if you have any
I look forward to seeing you there.
