MTV show looking for entrepreneurs for MTV sequence
Hope you don't mind me messaging. I work for a television production company called Gogglebox Entertainment. We are currently producing a series for MTV and are looking for young entrepreneurs, business-types, and computer whizzes to help out with a sequence we are filming next Wednesday.
I have put a load of info below, hope you can help!
We are making an exciting makeover/fashion and confidence building show for MTV called Plain Jane. It is a heart-warming, feel good positive show where shy, girl next door types are taken under the Presenter’s (Top fashion stylist and model Louise Roe) wing and transformed into stunning, confident young women. They spend a fabulous week with Louise gaining confidence to come out of their shell and embrace who they are. Louise takes them on a journey of exciting confidence boosting challenges, radical re-styling shopping trips and a day of pampering where they will receive a full Hollywood makeover. The week is rounded off beautifully in the form of an exquisite date with a guy of their dreams.
The sequence we are looking to film involved our contributor attempting to network with various bright, young things. We are looking for people involved in developing apps, websites, involved in graphic design, etc. We are creating a faux networking event where the girl we get to talk to various business entrepreneurs. There will of course be the opportunity to talk about your products, though I must stress we cannot guarantee what will make the final edit.
The programme itself goes out in over 60 countries with over 10 million viewers per episode.
We will need the networkers on set from 4pm on Wednesday 2nd May – I hope that the association with the MTV brand and the international exposure will help to compensate the loss of work hours.
We will also pay expenses.
Finish time and location TBC but we will be North London based.
Also a note, we will need both appearance releases from those involved and also material releases – these will give us permission to talk about and, if appropriate, show their product on the programme. We can get these signed on the day. If you do not own the copyright to your product we will need permission from the person who does!
If anyone is interested and/or would like more information they can contact me on[masked] or email me at [address removed]
