The Highs & Lows of the Startup Roller Coaster...
Geedra started 2011 in a position most early stage startups would kill for; over $300K of seed money in the bank (without any loss of founders' equity), a solution to an acknowledged problem in a trillion dollar industry, a top customer signed for 5 years and others lined up for trials with recognition and awards soon to follow. By the end of 2013, the money was gone and customer traction never materialized.
Rob Mathewson, Geedra's Founder, will take you along on the startup roller coaster as he recounts the successes and ultimate failure of Geedra. He promises a frank discussion the influences of the Seattle startup ecosystem along with an examination of the choices he made along the way.
Whether you're pondering your first venture or have been there before, this is a talk that you won't want to miss.
