I was out at Lake Lavon this past weekend and took a bunch of pics of the low water level. If you haven't yet heard about it Lavon is down 17ft and several areas in North Texas are under some serious water restrictions because the water level is so low. You can see and read more here...Lake Lavon

17 ft? Wow. That's pretty amazing.

It's easy to forget that we're still in the middle of a pretty severe drought. Thanks for the reminder!

Well now with all this recent rain we've been getting Lake Lavon Water Levels are up...finally. Based on the Engineers site it looks like it's within an inch of the conservation level so maybe this summer there won't be as many drought restrictions.
