From Robert Robinson of DC SUN (Solar United Neighborhoods)
Tuesday, November 29, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the sustainability initiative will break into the following working groups:
We need as many of you as possible (more than one person on a committee is a good thing) to represent DC SUN, particularly on the subcommittees that impact us:
What do we expect? Keeping DC SUN's steering committee informed of the your committee's proceedings. Taking a stand for sustainable goals and priorities that bring real sustainability: ie, creating real new green jobs for DC residents and replacing fossil fuels with renewables energy.
If you can participate in one of these working groups as a solar advocate, please contact me at [address removed] and let me know which group, or groups, you'd be willing to join.
Thank you for your support,
Note that this is an initiative by Mayor Gray.
African American Environmentalist Association will be among groups at DC Sustainability
