Movie and Dinner outing: Promised Land (about fracking, with Matt Damon)
   Sunday January 27,[masked]pm

Bethesda Row Cinema   (Bethesda Metro - Red Line, about quarter mile,
next to Capital Crescent Trail),+Bethesda,+MD

Join us to see "Promised Land" (film about natural gas/fracking and community activism starring Matt Damon) at the Landmark Bethesda Row Theater, 7235 Woodmont Ave, Bethesda.
After the movie we will go for dinner at Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Cafe at the corner of Bethesda Ave and Arlington Rd.
The movie starts at 4:15pm and we expect to be at the restaurant around 6.30pm. Please meet us in the lobby of the theater just before (about 4:00pm). Look forward to seeing you there!
The movie is about to leave cinema screens, this is the only one in the D.C. area.

Note that the Chesapeake Climate Action Network "CCAN" held a well attended conference on fracking in Maryland on December[masked] -- calling for a fracking moratorium until the environmental consequences of fracking to be studied before fracking can be permitted in Maryland.
