I have finally been able to borrow a small crate to socialize the kittens better (they've been getting bigger), but it would be ideal to have 2 total to put next to each other for a variety of reasons. Does anyone please have an extra crate I can borrow? I can sign an agreement/put a deposit down and clean it with water/bleach when done.
Also, we are running a bit low on supplies if anyone can donate any clumping litter, sheets of plastic, wood, and/or any other floor coverings, blankets/towels - it's greatly appreciated (amazing how many they do use). I had the kittens spayed last week. They're about 3 1/2 months old. Katniss is almost completely tame, but Primrose needs some more work. The one crate is working well for socialization, however, it's very messy in there for the 2 of them and they were recently spayed and I'd feel more comfortable if they were next to each other in separate crates until they are both tame enough to be adopted. I've brought Cleo to 3 Adoption Days and she's feeling more comfortable at them now.
Also, one of the rescue groups that has helped me is relatively new and I was thinking perhaps we could list one of the Adoption Days as an event (for one or more of the groups). This way people will be volunteering, seeing/helping adorable homeless animals and meeting each other.
Please also share the below flyer if possible.
