This weekend, with the help of a Stray Cat Alliance volunteer, I rescued the younger litter (there are 2 litters; this is the younger litter) with their Mom (&, just to play it safe, she treated them for any possible fleas or worms). Guess what!? They are all totally tame!!!! I had the mother spayed this week and as soon as she’s healed up enough, she cannot stay at the volunteer’s home any longer. She has many cats that she’s already caring for there, and she was nice enough to treat the kittens and hold the mother temporarily. Please let me know if you or anyone else you know could possibly foster the Mother. She is SOOOO sweet, smart, and loving. The fosters I’ve found thus far could only offer to keep her in a bathroom due to their other pets, so for now, she’s going back to live outside the woman’s house where she’s being fed, but, really she is so adoptable. I will be posting about her to try finding her a home via Kitten Rescue. I’m already swamped with 90 million things, so please let me know if anyone can volunteer to help me with anything. Unfortunately, one of the kittens is missing and the caretaker at the house believes one of the teen girls who was playing with them may have taken him/her.
As for the Foster Parents, one now can’t do it, and 1 is not sure when she can help and the other 2 can only help for 1 week each. Please donate whatever you can to (you can write a check to "The Pet Care Center" (http://www.yelp.com/biz/pet-care-veterinary-center-chesterfield-square-los-angeles) or send a paypal donation to [address removed]) Jackie Eco, PO Box 48791, LA, CA 90048. WE ALSO NEED CANS OF KITTEN WELLNESS (or another good quality kitten food please), FOOD, TOWELS, LITTER BOXES, NON-CLUMPING CLAY LITTER, TOYS, SCRATCHING POSTS, ETC. Please hurry as it will cover the costs of all vaccinations, tests and spay/neuters of all the older kittens I'm rescuing over there. After being spayed/neutered and evaluated, all unsocialized adult kitties will be put back there where they are being cared for outside their caretaker's home in Arcadia.
