Even tho I'm swamped with work, I need to take breaks here and there. Would any of ya'll be interested in a La Brea Tar Pits Meetup? I've never been there. It would be $10.25 per person but I would need the $ upfront to secure the discount - ideally I'd like to find a way for ya'll to pay them directly. If I get a serious interest of at least 15 people, I'll consider setting up the event. http://www.tarpits.org/visit/group-sales. Furthermore, I'd share the event with http://www.meetup.com/Positively-Solo/ - mostly eco/animal-loving people as well, tho the group has a positive-thinking/spiritual/yoga-stuff emphasis as well.
West Covina area: Hi. I'm hoping you might be able to help me or know someone who can. I know of some stray cats in a Kmart parking lot in West Covina who could really use some help. I know I know they can all use some help but these are in a parking lot right next to the freeway exit. I ran into a lady who has been feeding them but she's on the verge of losing her house caring for these 4 cats plus the ones she has at home. There are 2 females, both tabby type, (one has had atleast 2 litters and most have either "disappeared" or have been seeing getting run over). She was told this momma recently had a litter in a bush in the parking lot but no one has seen them since & it is believed something might have happened when the gardeners went. There's also an all white male who is extremely friendly, he will walk right up to you for some love. The last is a black & white sex unknown. I don't have a car everyday so I'm scared to trap them because I won't be able to check on them everyday. I'm wondering if you have any advice for me. I think these cats are highly adoptable. Please any advice would be very much appreciated. From: Karolyn Baltierra [address removed] (PLEASE contact her if you can help).
To help the Foster Parent hang flyers (I know her) & find homes for the Chatsworth homeless Kittens, please email me directly on meetup.com.
