Even though no one has emailed me directly about my email yesterday, I read it over and wondered if it looked like the kittens were separated from their mom for no reason - ?
I am devoting a lot of my life to raise awareness about the importance of SPAY/NEUTER; because of the countless years of rampant ignorance about it, literally, approximately 5 MILLION cats AND dogs are being euthanized in shelters in America alone. This is SICK, UNACCEPTABLE & UNNECESSARY. As a result of mere ignorance, there is a crisis going on in shelters, rescue groups, etc - and not enough fosters - until we raise more AWARENESS.
The only foster who was currently qualified, WONDERFUL, and available to help could only take in the kittens, not the mom (for a variety of reasons).
The kittens were rescued from outside, are scared of all people, and must be socialized. They are old enough to be weaned and are eating solid food. If they stay too reliant on mom, this often makes it harder to socialize them. Myself and many other Foster Parents know this very well from experience.
Thank you and please let me know if you have ANYTHING you can donate.
PS - original email - PLEASE SHARE: Is anyone able to donate a clean litterbox & non-clumping clay litter (these 2 are needed the most), kitten food, de-worming meds, clean toys, blankets, etc. for these babies? They are now safely with a first-time foster. I was blessed to be able to rescue these cuties & their mom (whom has been spayed & adopted already:) in an area where some !@#$%^ was hurting the cats. Btw, the orange kitty in the below pic was just given a bath, so he looks wet:)Thanks,JackiePS: Yes, we are looking for Leads on GOOD HOMES for them too:)
