Trade your old holiday lights for led ones - upcoming events

Trade up to three of your old incandescent holiday light strands (do not need to be in working condition) for new, multi-colored holiday light strands made with light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
LEDs save energy and save money by reducing electricity use up to 90% and lasting up to 100 time longer.  They're also safer because they stay cool to the touch.
Holiday lighting exchanges will be held on:
November 15th in El Cajon
December 5th in Balboa Park
December 6th in Chula Vista
For more details, visit and click on "Lighting Turn-in Program and Schedule".
