On Saturday, September 28th, New Belgium Brewery is back in San Diego hosting there infamous Tour de Fat festival at Golden Hills Park.

The event is about trading your car for your bike and celebrating sustainability with great music and beer.

For those who haven't experienced Tour de Fat, it is a thrilling rite of passage that includes an unparalleled costumed bicycle parade, New Belgium beer, eccentric entertainment, local food, unusual bike contests and much more.

Zero Waste San Diego is looking for volunteers to help create a zero waste event by staffing Zero Waste Zones and helping attendees recycling properly. Each volunteer will receive a t'shirt and tokens for BEER. You heard me FREE beer. At times it may get dirty but it's a lot of fun with great people, crazy outfits and awesome music.

This is an event you will not want to miss, so bring a friend or two or three.

There are two shifts available:

1st Shift: 9:00am to 1:00pm
2nd Shift: 1:00pm to 5:00pm

You can choose one shift or both.

This event should be a lot of fun.
