America Recycles Day is your opportunity to promote recycling of? paper/cardboard, plastic, aluminum/steel, electronics and more. Encourage your communities to reduce waste while helping to build markets for materials by purchasing goods made from recycled content.
NEW for 2009: The updated America Recycles Day website will be launched September 18, including ideas?to celebrate ARD,?downloadable documents, and an opportunity to register your 2009 event. Participants that register by October 1 will have an opportunity to receive event banners, posters, and pencils (made from recycled paper and/or denim).??
