I have been the Organizer of this group for 5 months
and we now have over 50 members. I have organized and
attended personally at least 5 meet-ups ranging from
beach clean-ups, to environmental movie nights to
brain-storming sessions on ways we can protect the

(Only 2 members have attended events - 1 for the
"Inconvenient Truth" movie night and one for the

This has led me to believe that either A) I'm not
organizing the right kinds of events or B) That the 50
members of this group don't care enough about the
environment to make the time to do anything for it. I
hope it's not B.
My 6-month fee of $72 I paid to organize this group
expires on October 25th. Can anyone give me any reason
to renew my subscription because I really don't feel
inspired to do so at this point... I would rather
donate that $72 to an Environmental Organization.
