Come to a Solar House Party!

Want to learn more about the Sierra Club’s Solar Homes Campaign and how it can help you get solar panels for your home, often at little or no upfront cost?

Come to a solar house party where you can talk with Sierra Club staff and experts from our solar partner Sungevity!

Our host, David Haake, will show you his rooftop panels and tell you about his personal experience going solar.

When: 2 - 5 pm on Sunday, June 9th
Where: 11027 Westwood Blvd.
Culver City, CA (in the Lindberg Park neighborhood, map)

Light refreshments will be served.

To add to the fun, Paul Scott will be offering test drives in an all-electric Nissan Leaf and the Sungevity Ice Pop Truck will be on hand with free treats!

If you're planning to come, please RSVP, so that we will know how many people to expect.

If you have any questions, please call Jennifer Robinson at the Angeles Chapter Office at (213)[masked] x204, or [masked].

Or, just go to Solar Homes now to request your free, no-obligation solar quote!

Every solar system installed through this program sends $750 to Sierra Club's local efforts in California, AND you get a $750 cash gift card back from Sungevity.

Date: Sunday, June 9, 2013

David, thank you. This was a great intro to solar energy; loved the garden and hearing Denise's pearls!

Nissan Leaf test drives at this Sunday's Sungevity - Sierra Club Solar House Party in Culver City will be provided by none other than electric car champion, Paul Scott. Paul co-founded the nonprofit Plug In America and was featured in the 2006 documentary "Who Killed the Electric Car?" Paul has been in the news a lot lately for asking to talk directly to President Obama about the environmental and economic advantages of electric cars. We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
