Sierra Club - West Los Angeles Group Message Board › Lots of Great Sierra Club Hikes This Weekend!
Los Angeles, CA
Time to lace up those boots and get outdoors!
There will be lots of great Sierra Club hikes this weekend! Check out the Angeles Chapter Outings Page, click on "Search Our Outings List" and type in the date you want to hike. Just on Saturday, December 4th alone, sixteen different hikes and outings are listed.
On Sunday, December 5th, Marlen Mertz and I will be leading a hike from Trippett Ranch to Eagle Rock in Topanga State Park. This will be a Chapter Centennial Outing in honor of the Chapter’s work to preserve the Santa Monica Mtns. Moderately paced 6 mi rt, 1000’ gain. Our route forms a figure eight with Eagle Junction at the center. Going out on Eagle Springs Rd, stopping at impressive Eagle Rock with panoramic views of Topanga State Park, and returning on the Musch trail. All Sierra Club Rules of Conduct apply. You must sign a Liability Waiver to participate in this hike.
Another way to find out what's happening with the West Los Angeles Group of the Sierra Club is to click HERE to visit our website, then click on CALENDAR. In addition to our hikes, we have meetings in Culver City every other month.
