"Beautiful Islands" looks at three beautiful islands, shaken by climate change:
-Tuvalu in the South Pacific
-Venice in Italy
-Shishmaref in Alaska

Official Site: http://www.beautifuli...

These three islands are all disappearing by climate change.
When these people lose their homelands, their cultures and histories face “death.” Their lives in the midst of all the changes suggest where our future leads.

KORE-EDA Hirokazu, who is well known for "Nobody Knows", Cannes WINNER, executive produced the film.

The most important theme of this movie is the lives of people, which are deeply rooted in the surrounding nature, traditions and cultures. What you see in the film are islands vanishing by climate change.
