It's time to learn and practice Spanish while having fun. These meetings will be mainly for beginner and intermediate Spanish students.
During these meetings, we’ll cover a variety of the aspects of the language.
The more words we know, the more we’re able to express ourselves. You will learn 10 practical vocabulary words at each meeting. You’ll be able to put these words into practice right away by creating sentences with them.
Most people are visual learners. When we read something out loud, we use more than just one of the senses. We see the information; we say it, and we hear it. That’s why we’ll spend some time reading during each meeting.
Knowing the grammar of the target language is very important; it clarifies many doubts and guides us when we are lost and need to make a decision. We’ll touch upon some grammatical topics during every session.
In my opinion, speaking is the most important skill to have when one learns a new language. You’ll have the opportunity to speak, and the benefit of being corrected. I’ll do my best to help you with your pronunciation, so you can sound like a native speaker.

Support our Spanish group by donating what you can. During these meetings you can pay your optional $5-membership fees. You can donate a couple of dollars, $5, or even if it’s only $50 or $100.
This money helps us to make sure we keep having more events.
It also helps us pay for the Meetup site fees and the domain and hosting of our website www.elgrupoepico.com .
Finally, have fun and give us your feedback. The main goal of these meetings is to learn, but also to have fun in the process.
Let us know how we are doing, and how we can make our group better. Also, let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. We love to hear from you.
See you on Wednesday!
