An afternoon with Ralph Metzner, PhD on the Life Path of the Artist

The Liminal Art Salon® is hosting Ralph Metzner for an afternoon presentation on "The Life Path of the Artist" from his book six of the series on the Ecology of Consciousness. As you know, Ralph is a pioneer of entheogen and consciousness studies, Professor Emeritus of CIIS, and prolific author, so his presentation will be fascinating. The event takes place Saturday, June 28 from 3-5pm at Warehouse 416,[masked]th street in the Oakland Art Murmur uptown district. It is part of a seminal art and poetry show  "The Poet and the Artist in Aphrodite's Garden -- Liminal, Lyrical, Lucid" from June 5-July 19, 2014. The show will also be open for Oakland's First Friday Art Murmur, Friday July 4 from 3-8pm. $20 suggested donation goes to Star Mountain School, a 501c3.

Dr. Metzner and his colleagues gave a thoughtful talk and led an interesting discussion, useful to anyone who is consciously exploring or seeking their life's path. This was an excellent session in a wonderful location. For those of us who live in the East Bay... please, more ERIE events at The Liminal Art Salon, and Thanks for putting this on!

Hey Larry, we love cartoon-like art too. The intent was not to target a legit form of expression, artful or not, but to express the fact that alot of "art" is mostly craft, lacking depth. Apologies to cartoon artists, not to art that isn't.
