A great conference. Thanks so much for organizing it. I was able to get an insight into how to actually work with Erlang that it is difficult to obtain through text alone.

Great learning experience. I got some great insights and connections to some people who I only knew online.

Quick correction: To work with Elixir, you'll need to have Erlang R16B02 (not 15). For more info, see the Development Setup section of http://erlangdc.org/

Also, if you have polyglot programming friends/colleagues who may be interested in Elixir, or any of the other topics being presented on Saturday, please let them know that we'd love to have them. Point them to ErlangDC.org, and/or have them register at ErlangDC.eventbrite.com.

    Thanks!

New info up on erlangdc.org, including the agenda for the day. We'll also be posting shortly pre-reqs for software that attendees should install before Saturday.

I don't think there was any mention of lunch...are there places nearby, should we bring our own, or will it be provided?

    Thanks,
    Keith

Because of the speed in which we put this together, we weren't able to make arrangements to get lunch sponsored. There are options to get lunch nearby, or you can bring one from home.

This is great, thanks for organizing it!

Can anyone say what the parking options are there?

Also, is this an open space conference, or is there a preset schedule, and if the latter, (where) will it be published?

You're welcome! Our pleasure. We'll be locking down and publishing the schedule this week, Keith. Please be sure to register via Eventbrite (http://erlangdc.event...), so that we can keep a tally of attendance, and the breakout for the two workshops tracks (intro to Elixir, and advanced Erlang topics) in the morning.

The parking lot on the south side of campus is only 5 dollars for all day. There is also street parking on the north and west sides of campus, I know it is 2 hours max, but not sure if it is enforced on the weekends or not, I will try to check.
