Hey, DC Erlangutans!
As an FYI, the tables have been turned since our ErlangDC conference in December. Instead of just riding scooters around, snacking, drinking beers and cracking joke about concurrency while you all are under the hot lights and cameras, *I* am going to be giving a presentation at the upcoming ErlangFactory SF Bay Area on Th 03/29 titled " 'Big Data' and the Future of DevOps' ". I will also be hosting the "Erlang in the Cloud" track on Fr 03/30.
This is shaping up to be the biggest Erlang Factory ever. There are seven other great tracks
) covering a total of 59 other interesting talks
). Plus, there is a bonus Sa full of activities (http://goo.gl/HBRWX
), with additional tutorials
, a DevOps Bootcamp
, a Hackathon
and an UnConference
And it's all preceded on Mo-We by three days of the (optional) excellent Erlang University classes
). Attend that, and you will build upon the skills you developed during the ErlangDC morning bootcamp that Francesco provided to us.
There is bound to be a whole bunch of things on the agenda that you can use to justify spending a week in the Bay Area in March. *SMILE*
The "early bird" window has past. But our friends at Erlang Solutions set up a special extended "early bird" discount code
, exclusive to the ErlangDC crowd. So, to git-on-it and register for the conference, email me ([address removed]) over the NEXT SEVEN DAYS
, and I'll get that code for you.
Yes, it's true. We DC Erlangutans indeed *are* special.
